Caesura Poetry Installation @ Luminary Contemporary Arts Festival—Unam Building (San Antonio), 7:00 PM—Midnight. Claudia Cardona and Melanie Robinson's poetry collective - Caesura - has an upcoming public art project at Luminary Contemporary Arts Festival (a big ol' festival in San Antonio) on November 10. The two MFA poetry students have been given a huge gallery space and are incredibly excited to be some of the few poets who will be participating this year.

Students Wade Martin & Allyson Whipple will co-host the final 20th anniversary reading of the 2018 Best of Texas Poetry Calendar on behalf of Dos Gatos Press.
Suspended Whispers: A Conversation with Roja Chamankar, Emily Beyda (18’), and Jade Fusco @ Bookwoman (5501 North Lamar #A-105), 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM. Suspended Whispers is the latest chapbook published by harlequin creature. It is a trilingual illustrated edition of poems in Persian, French & English. The book is a collaboration between three women, all currently based in Austin, Texas: the poet Roja Chamankar, translator Emily Beyda, and artist Jade Fusco.
