MFA Faculty Reading

Permanent Faculty and Endowed Chair 

Our program offers students singular opportunities to develop their craft. Students workshop with Tim O’Brien, Naomi Shihab Nye, and Mai Der Vang (our current Endowed Chair, a position held on a rotating basis by internationally acclaimed writers). They also work closely with our dedicated full-time faculty, including Doug Dorst, Jennifer duBois, Lindsay Stern, and Debra Monroe in Fiction; and Cyrus Cassells, Cecily Parks, Charlotte Pence, and Steve Wilson in Poetry.


Visiting Writers and Instructors

Our students enjoy readings and master classes with renowned visiting writers, as well as meetings with leading agents and editors.
