International applicants to the MFA program are welcome to begin their application process by submitting this form and attaching a creative manuscript for review. This manuscript should include 12-15 poems (if applying in Poetry), or up to 25 pages of fiction and nonfiction (if applying in Fiction).

Based on our evaluation of these preliminary documents, the MFA program will advise regarding the next steps in the application process. This cost-free consultation is available to International applicants until 12/15/22. After that point, international applicants will need to apply through the normal application process, outlined here.

Before beginning the application, please note that applicants to the MFA program must possess at least the equivalent of a U.S. Bachelors degree, and a GPA equivalent to at least 2.7 on the US 4 point scale. The program is not able to consider your application otherwise.
