Join us for the Artists’ Books Collection Exhibit Reception. The physical exhibit accompanies the Texas State University Artists’ Books Collection Digital Exhibit. An artists’ book is a handmade or interesting format, unique, rare, often limited-edition book that is a work of art itself. Included in the exhibit are artists’ books by faculty, alumni artists, local area artists, national and international artists.

Stop by to see the list of the artists’ books physically exhibited in the glass cases in front of Special Collections & Archives (Alkek 204) on the 2nd floor. Three of the artists’ books that are featured in the digital exhibit are not in the physical exhibit. You can see those three books along with all the other books in the digital exhibit and learn more about the artists’ books: https://exhibits.library.txstate.edu/s/artistsbooks/page/home
