In this session, we will focus more in depth on data analysis and visualizations using Python. You will learn how to filter, aggregate, find patterns and customize charts for better storytelling, explore advanced visualization libraries such as matplotlib and seaborn. We will also discuss best practices for presenting data visually. The workshop uses Google Colab, a free browser-based platform that only requires a Gmail account, making it easy to follow along without installing anything. For those who prefer working locally, Anaconda is recommended, which includes Python, Jupyter Notebook, and all necessary libraries. Your design process must start somewhere: right here. Students will learn basic design principles and use them to fabricate a 3-Dimensional object. This process will step through the complete prototyping process from sketches, maquettes, translation into design software, and fabrication of a finished object in the Alkek MakerSpace. Students will have the opportunity to fabricate their product using a laser cutter, waterjet, or 3D printer.

The class will meet twice a week for two weeks. YOU MUST ATTEND ALL 4 SESSIONS.
